Comparing Numbers: Greater than sign, Less than sign or Equal
While playing this game, we are going to study how to compare numbers with one another. For that we need to learn three signs: greater than sign, less than sign and equal.
For example: try to guess which number is greater than to another number? Which set of sweets is greater, 5 sweets or 3 sweets? Of course, the set of 5 sweets is greater than the set of 3 sweets. So, 5 is greater than 3. In Math it can be written this way: 5 > 3
There is the greater than sign, “>”, between 5 and 3.
If the number on the left of the sign is less than the other one, you should use the symbol “<”. If the number on the left is equal to the other one, you should use the symbol “=”. [shareaholic app="share_buttons" id="14793675"]
